Target Audience
Residents of the Northern New South Wales beaches, aged between 30 and 60. This demographic may encompass business or home owners, as well as renters, who have a fondness for coastal photography prints. Tourist companies, northern NSW councils or Local businesses looking for professional photography services for marketing, promotional materials, or social media content.
Creative considerations
Combining coastal colours and elements and photography symbols to achiev an overall style that is sophisticated and modern yet approachable. Using a script font, I aimed to convey a signature feel. The smooth transition from thin to thick lines in the logo creates a sense of movement, resembling a brush stroke. These elements unite to express creativity, curation, and the laid-back coastal lifestyle.
Initial Logo Concepts
After receiving feedback, the client recommended adopting a friendlier, more flowing, and laid-back style to better mirror his personality and the desired impression for clients. The final design now exudes a more approachable feel, narrating a story that resonates better with the target audience, particularly those who have grown up around the north coast that has a strong art and surfing culture.
